In recognition of BRASA’s generous donations and support of Friends of Refugees (FoR) over the past eight years, FoR CEO Sri Samy, invited BRASA members to attend Friday’s morning tea with the Premier.
The event was a great success. Daniel Andrews took a keen interest in the place and had a good look around. He met the volunteers and supporters and was most affable. Sri had prepared a short Powerpoint presentation which he watched. This presented the statistics on how many people FoR had been helping. The premier gave a speech expressing admiration for their work and surprise at the extent of it. BRASA Members: Geraldine, Judy and Lyndall attended.
